Esta es la canción que me gustaría aportar; United de Throbbing Gristle. Creo que ha hecho historia, ya que es una de las primeras de la música industrial y la letra habla de las relaciones humanas que tanto hemos tratado a lo largo del curso:

itaka aguarda// aprendizaje sobre el viaje

Sabio consejo para los que viajan mucho:

Cuando emprendas tu viaje hacia Ítaca
debes rogar que el viaje sea largo,
lleno de peripecias, lleno de experiencias.
No has de temer ni a los lestrigones ni a los cíclopes,
ni la cólera del airado Posidón.

enseñanzas desde el líbano// a propósito de Gibran

El otro día el profesor no leyó un par de cuentos de Gibran y yo aprovecho para citar dos pasajes sumamente interesantes para la materia que nos ocupa en estas clases: sobre la compra y la venta y sobre la enseñaza. Gibran escribía en árabe y en inglés, por lo que he preferido dejar la cita en inglés:



On Buying & Selling

And a merchant said, "Speak to us of Buying and Selling."
And he answered and said:
To you the earth yields her fruit, and you shall not want if you but know how to fill your hands.
It is in exchanging the gifts of the earth that you shall find abundance and be satisfied.
Yet unless the exchange be in love and kindly justice, it will but lead some to greed and others to hunger.
When in the market place you toilers of the sea and fields and vineyards meet the weavers and the potters and the gatherers of spices,

On Teaching

Then said a teacher, "Speak to us of Teaching."

No man can reveal to you aught but that which already lies half asleep in the dawning of our knowledge.
The teacher who walks in the shadow of the temple, among his followers, gives not of his wisdom but rather of his faith and his lovingness.
If he is indeed wise he does not bid you enter the house of wisdom, but rather leads you to the threshold of your own mind.
